Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of DesignRounds (designrounds.in), a system design interview practice platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use DesignRounds.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Sign in with an email address or Google account that belongs to you. You're responsible for activity on your account, so keep access to your email and Google account secure.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.
Acceptable use
Use DesignRounds for interview practice and learning. Don't:
- attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' accounts;
- scrape, copy or redistribute the practice rounds, guides or reviews in bulk, or use automated tools to access the service beyond normal use;
- try to get around plan limits, rate limits or access controls, including by creating multiple accounts;
- submit content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or contains other people's personal or confidential information;
- use the AI interviewer or reviews to generate content unrelated to system design practice.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Your content
Designs, notes and answers you create belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service, including sending them to our AI provider to generate interviewer replies and reviews, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't publish your designs.
Our content
The practice rounds, guides, rubrics, canvas and the rest of the site are owned by DesignRounds and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial interview practice.
AI feedback
Interviewer replies and reviews are generated by AI. They're practice feedback, not professional advice, and they can be incomplete or wrong. Scores are not a prediction or guarantee of any interview outcome or job offer.
Plans and pricing
DesignRounds is currently free to use within the published limits. Plus, a paid plan, is coming soon. Its price and billing terms will be shown before you can buy it, and these terms will be updated at that time. We may change free-plan features and limits.
Availability
We work to keep DesignRounds available and your work saved, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or discontinue features. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DesignRounds is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, opportunities or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you haven't paid anything.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll notify signed-in users on the site or by email. Continuing to use DesignRounds after a change means you accept the updated terms.
